I was obviously unable to keep up with this while I was in Europe last summer, but I decided to give it another go. While I am skeptical that anyone will ever read what I write here, I know this will give me the chance to express my feelings on various topics that I find interesting. Just to give a quick update, my summer in Germany was amazing. I wish there was a better word to describe it, but amazing will have to do for now. I was challenged in several ways, yet at the end of my experience there I felt that I was a stronger person. Altogether I was in Germany for ten weeks followed by ten days as a tourist in Italy. The picture at the top of the blog was actually taken in San Gimignano, a preserved medieval town in Tuscany. One of the town's nicknames is the Manhattan of the Middle Ages because of all the towers.
Anyways, The new title for my blog is "Fresh Reflections." I chose this title because part of what I have learned over the past several months is that I really don't know as much as I thought I knew about everything. I hope to use this blog as a humble forum for me to express my fresh opinions. Who knows, maybe people will start reading what I write and correct me when I err. Either way I am excited to see where this new attempt at blogging will take me.
